Ed Maglietta and Pastels (September 17, 2018)
My interest in pastels began with a gift of a small number of pastels from my mother-in-law about thirty years ago. Following my retirement and the purchase of a condo in Florida, I joined the Art League of Bonita, Florida Springs, Florida and subsequently took several classes in pastels and acrylic painting.
Pastels appeal to me because of the freshness of color, versatility and ease of correction of most errors during the painting process. Click on any of the examples below to see some of Ed's work.
