Prairieland Art Tour 2013

DEADLINE TO SIGN UP AND SEND IN INFORMATION FOR BROCHURE IS MAY 7, 2013

In an effort to help make art a visible & vital part of the Freeport community MAG is  organizing the 5th Prairieland Art Tour. This two day event consists of a free self-guided tour of artist’s studios in the Freeport area. Anyone not able to open their studios or homes for the event have the opportunity to pair up with another artist in their studio or set up and show their work in the community room at Parkview in Freeport.


Dates of the event

Saturday, September 28, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Sunday, September 29, Noon – 4:00 p.m.

SIGN UP NOW! Fee for MAG members is $40.00, $50.00 for non-members. Join MAG now and receive a $10.00 savings. 

Benefits for participating artists:

·         The event will be well publicized

·         Hard copy and electronic brochures and posters will be provided.

·         Potential to gain a wider customer base.

·         It will give you an opportunity to produce new work

·         You will learn & grow as an artist as you demonstrate and/or explain your work to others.

To participate please print out and fill out the information in the Artist Agreement.pdf at the bottom of this page and send it with your check to Momentum Art Guild, P.O. Box 385, Freeport, Illinois 61032. Make checks payable to Momentum Art Guild.


Brochure information:

A two or three sentence summary of the artist’s work.

A high quality image of one representative work. (TIFF files preferred. 300 dpi, 5 megapixels or better). An image on CD or flash drive is also acceptable.
